wow...great podcast, Max

I watched as my father met Ettinger for the first time at our home. they co-founded the Cryonics Society of MI. I have pictures of the mobile unit that was parked in our driveway thru high school. (I am the dead body in the pics) My dad built all of the original things for the first Detroit lab. (mobile perfusion machine, table, & two cryostats)

...only had ethylene glycol & DMSO, I think...it's been over 50 years!

Enjoyed Steve. I think that he'd make a great addition to the CI board!

It was a great meeting! Everyone seemed energized. I'm excited to hear about the cryoprotectant formulation...things are improving rapidly with the help of numerous

open minds.

Thank you very much for interviewing me. Your comprehensive and well-thought out questions covered a lot of territory, and I was pleased to have the chance to share my views on many topics, including my interest in serving on the CI Board.

Thank you again, Max.

Just an update for anyone who has been following my interest in serving on the Cryonics Institute Board of Directors. At the Annual Meeting on September 7, 2025, I was elected to a three-year term on the Board. I'm really looking forward to this and have already had a chance to meet with fellow board members and discuss a variety of topics. We had an additional meeting yesterday where we made important progress on the Cryonics Revival Trust.

Over the weekend, I also had a chance to meet and have breakfast with Joan Runkel (who commented below). (If you have a chance to talk with her, Max, I can recommend it; she's a lot of fun.)

I'd also like to thank you for this interview. Several people told me they watched it, and it helped them decide to vote for me. I really appreciate that. I'm looking forward to more interesting opportunities in the future for more dialog.

I'm going to give it my all. And, so far, they don't seem bashful about taking advantage of my offer. <grin>
